The Sight

In Aira city, there are some historical and cultural sight.  Some of the most famous places are Tatsumonji-slope(龍門司坂), Ryumon Falls(龍門の滝).
 Tatsumonji-slope was made in 1741.  The span of the slope is 1500 meters and 486 meters of the total the length remain as those days.  The slope is the main road which connect the Satsuma clan and Edo for freight transport and Daimyo's procession.

 

Ryumon Falls is 46 meters in height and 43 meters in width.  The fall is selected 100 selections of Japanese Falls.
